Apple Prepares Major AI Overhaul as Campos Set to Replace Siri

The shift represents Apple’s most ambitious move yet to reposition itself in the fast-evolving AI race, where rivals such as OpenAI and Google have surged ahead with conversational assistants that feel more capable and more natural.

From Voice Assistant to Conversational AI

According to a report by Bloomberg, Campos is not an incremental upgrade to Siri but a complete replacement. The new system is designed to function as a full conversational chatbot, supporting both voice and text interactions and responding in a more fluid, context-aware manner.
