LinkedIn is giving users a new way to flag low-quality AI-generated posts, as the platform moves to reduce the growing amount of artificial content on its feed.

New Button Flags AI Slop

The new “Seems like AI slop” button allows users to report posts they believe were heavily generated by AI or appear inauthentic.

LinkedIn says the feedback will help improve its systems for detecting low-quality AI content and reduce its appearance in recommended posts.

LinkedIn Is Also Changing Its AI Tools

The platform is removing its “enhance your post” feature, which used AI to rewrite users’ posts.

It will instead introduce a proofreading tool designed to improve writing without changing the user's voice.

LinkedIn is also privately notifying users when their posts are being perceived as overly AI-generated.

More Automation Controls

LinkedIn says it is blocking hundreds of thousands of automated comment attempts every day and millions of other automation attempts.

The company is also expanding content classifiers, profile and page verification tools, and controls for blocking unwanted comments from company pages.
