Globacom has unveiled a new brand campaign, “Never Settle For Less,” as the Nigerian telecommunications company marks 23 years of operations and innovation in the country.

The campaign was launched during a media event at Glo’s headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos, where the company also introduced new and upgraded products aimed at improving customer value and digital experiences.

A campaign built around ambition

The “Never Settle For Less” message encourages Nigerians to pursue bigger goals and demand greater value from the products and services they use.

Speaking during the event, Uche Ogwuda highlighted the growing importance of digital technology in helping individuals and businesses achieve their ambitions.

According to her, people who understand the role technology can play in their growth are also more likely to seek better digital experiences and opportunities.

Glo expands its customer offers

As part of the campaign, Globacom introduced improvements to several of its existing products while launching new offerings.

One of the major updates is to the Glo Talkmasta “6 for 6” offer.

Customers previously received six free minutes and 50MB of data after six minutes of calls. Under the updated offer, subscribers will continue to receive the six free minutes but will now get 100MB of free data, doubling the previous allocation.

New customers get bigger welcome benefits

Glo has also increased the benefits attached to its Welcome Bonus.

New customers who purchase and activate a Glo SIM can receive benefits valued at up to ₦2,100, including:

  • 20 minutes of calls to all networks
  • 2GB of free data
  • One month of GloTV Premium

The company says the offer is designed to give new subscribers additional value from the beginning of their relationship with the network.

Glo introduces Magic Data

Another major announcement was the launch of Magic Data Bundle, a new data offering that combines a guaranteed data allocation with additional bonus data.

Subscribers who purchase qualifying bundles receive the amount of data attached to their selected plan and an additional bonus determined by Glo's promotional structure.

The bundles are available at ₦1,600 and ₦3,500, with bonus allocations ranging from 500MB to 12GB, depending on the bundle purchased.

Customers can access the offers through the Glo Café app or by dialling *312#.

Glo Café gets an AI upgrade

Glo also revealed a redesigned version of its Glo Café application.

The updated app comes with a refreshed interface, stronger security features and additional payment options.

One of its biggest additions is Gloria, an AI-powered voice and text assistant designed to help customers find information, resolve enquiries and discover available offers.

Gloria supports English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French and Spanish, making it one of the company's most significant digital customer-service additions.

The company says the upgraded app will also provide exclusive benefits, including 100GB for first-time registrations, recharge bonuses and special data offers.

A message reinforced by personal stories

The event also featured speakers who shared experiences that reflected the campaign's central message.

Fashion entrepreneur Mai Atafo spoke about leaving a corporate career to pursue fashion, describing the decision as an important turning point in his professional journey.

Columnist and television personality Dr Reuben Abati also discussed the importance of continuously challenging oneself rather than becoming comfortable with existing achievements.

He praised Globacom's emphasis on innovation, describing it as an important driver of business growth and competitiveness.

Glo's next phase

The new campaign comes as Nigerian telecom companies increasingly compete not only on network connectivity but also on pricing, digital services, customer support and additional experiences built around their platforms.

With its new offers, redesigned app and AI-powered assistant, Glo is positioning the “Never Settle For Less” campaign as both a marketing message and a push toward a broader digital customer experience.
